Emperor Announces New Senatorial Races! Three Seats, OPEN TO ALL IMPERIALS

"Greetings people of the Empire" the Emperor announced this morning from the podium of the Reichstag.

"In my experience as sole Emperor of our Grand Spencorian Empire, I have found that we, as an Empire, and as a people, are only able to truely excell and prosper in times of transition, disagreement, and, sometimes, difficulty"

"If we are to maintain our position in the global theater of Minecratftia, it is necessary that we re-enforce the competativeness of ideals, of wills, and of convitions within our Empire"

"The only way to truely accomplish this goal, to find the best men and women to lead this great nation in the coming months, is not to maintain the old order which lives ad infinitum. Rather, we must meet the changing times with an outstreched hand of caution, a mind for the old, and a willingness to adapt the changes of our world to our benefit"

"It is with this tradition of rationality that I, Spencier Provisor Klugstemann, Emperor of the Grand Spencorian Empire, on this wintery 23rd day of February, in the year of our Lord two-thousand and sixteen, call for the election of a new Imperial Senate; to be known upon re-election as the Second Imperial Senate of the Grand Spencorian Empire"

It was at this moment the crowd of assembled Imperials erupted in racious applause.

"Calm... calm my fellow Imperials. I'm not quite finished yet. But I promise you'll like this next bit" The Emperor said unscripted.

"It is in this special occasion of the election of the Second Imperial Senate that I issue a new Imperial Edict to accompany it. As of this day forth, any, all, and every Imperial citizen is free and able to run for the office of the Imperial Senate"

Even louder applause than last time.

"It is with extreme gladness that I make this announcement. And add further that this moment marks an important stage in the progression of my promise. The promise that I made to each and every Imperial all those years ago at the foot of Amplitudo city in Allimore. We would be a Republic. We would take in the ideals of Republicanism and we would never let them flow by the wayside. Freedom, Order, Justice, and Liberty. These are the foundations of the Empire, and these are the foundations of the Imperial Republic and the Senate. We are and always shall be an Empire, but with each stride we make, we inch closer and closer to securing true freedom and order for our people. Now, my Imperial people; now we are freer than we have ever been before"

Applause from the crowd.

"Thank you my people, thank you all. May God bless you, may He bless each and every one of you, every stone of this building, every plank of our homes, every pig in our pens, and every foot print we leave behind in this land and in every land accross our World Order.

The crowd stands, salutes, and shouts 'All Hail the Empire' for three minutes to the national anthem.

The Emperor walks off the podium and walks into the crowd.
